Kitchen Remodel - Minocqua, WI
Everyone has a dream Kitchen. Oftentimes, the trouble is that many people don’t have the perfect amount of space available within their homes that is required to build their dream kitchen. That was the case for this project.
This client, located in Minocqua, WI, came to us asking for suggestions to help them create their dream kitchen out of the allotted space they had at the time. We were able to accomplish just that! Through remodeling, we opened up the kitchen and provided circulation that traveled fluently throughout the Kitchen, Dining Room, and Living room in their beautiful home!
We were so excited that this client ultimately decided on a Modern Farmhouse influence with Green Painted Cabinetry and a Farmhouse Sink! We truly love the character this space brings to their space and LOVE the warmth provided by mixing the green tones with the warm wood tones!

For the painted cabinetry, we decided to go with Sherwin Williams-Studio Gray as it coordinated perfectly with the warm wood tones found that existed originally on the ceilings. Since the vaulted ceiling finish was to remain as existing, we coordinated with it for the rest of our finish selections. We suggested Kohler Plumbing fixtures finished in Oil Rubbed Bronze to contrast with the rest of the light finishes. We also found the PERFECT cabinet hardware to complement the details in the Kohler bridge faucet design. We really could not have found a more perfect match! Additionally, we refinished the ceilings in the Kitchen with a white-washed Shiplap that counterbalanced the Super White Granite countertops.
Naturally, since the design influence was Modern Farmhouse, we selected light fixtures that are beautiful staples to the Modern Farmhouse design! Many people think light fixture selection is a cakewalk but, to be honest, there are so many design aspects to consider. For this project, since the light fixtures were mounted on a sloped ceiling, we had to select a light fixture capable of pivoting to allow the fixture to hang straight down from the ceiling.
Using design elements such as balance of materials, color, texture, and circulation we provided this client with a dream Kitchen that now influences their everyday lives!
